In the Fall 2024 Semester Premiere of In Performance, TUTV welcomes a new host, Jesse Kosierowski, to lead our musical guests in engaging conversation and live performances throughout the semester.
In this episode, Bell Tower Musics‘ latest artist, Erin Schneider, takes the stage to perform “Crying On My Birthday” and “Blonde.” With a passion for both the creative and business side of the music industry, Erin has joined Temples Bell Tower Music label and has been honing her skills as a singer-songwriter and music marketer at Temple University’s Klein College and Media and Communication, providing her with a well-rounded understanding of the music industry. What began with a Rock-Hero drum set has blossomed into a fulfilling lifelong journey of sonic discovery and artistry.

Shedding Light is TUTV’s first show focused on student disability and offers an in-depth look into the experiences and challenges faced by the differently-abled at Temple University. Hosted by Remington Vaughan, this series premiere touches on disability representation, inclusion, personal narratives, and more.
First, Remington welcomes Janelle Vuong, a Global Studies major, who shares her journey of living with juvenile idiopathic arthritis. Janelle candidly discusses how her condition affects her daily life as a student and how she navigates the academic environment while managing her disability.
Later, Remington is joined by students Barbara Lewandowski and Meg Mohr, along with Dr. Scott Gratson, the director of undergraduate studies. Together, they engage in a candid conversation about the challenges and realities of living with a disability on a college campus, offering insights into accessibility, academic adjustments, and personal advocacy.
Finally, Carry Snyder, the director of Temple University Disability Resources & Services (DRS), tours the DRS center. Carrie sheds light on a wide range of services and resources available to students, aiming to support those with disabilities and ensure equal opportunities for all members of the campus community.

The Fall 2024 season of OwlSports Update, TUTV’s student-run sports show, is set to kick off with fresh energy and talent. This weekly program covers the latest developments in Temple’s intercollegiate athletic programs, featuring news, analysis, and highlights, all produced, anchored, filmed, and edited entirely by Temple University students.
For Fall 2024, OwlSports Update introduces two dynamic anchor teams. Michael Mirville and Julia Green will lead the Cherry Team, while Natalie Koranda and Gabe Linington will lead the White Team.

Temple Pilots is a student group formed to help fellow students produce short films with TUTV. With the help and support of TUTV, this program delivers an array of exciting stories in the form of a series of short films.
Death in Debtis an original story by Temple Pilots Productions about a struggling funeral parlor owner who devises a macabre plan to keep the business afloat. When Jayna-Lee selects photographer Jake Hunter as her next “client,” Jake’s fiancée Aubrey becomes suspicious of her beloved’s sudden death. She enlists the help of Sal and journalist Touma Stone. Death in Debt features Nina Koripella, John Michael Fioravanti, Alana McCullen, Ryan Bortolotti, Safwaan Ahmer, and Steven Olsen, directed by Kieran Cunningham and Meredith Hunter.

Each year, Temple University Television collaborates with PRowl to grant graduating seniors the opportunity to see their dreams come to life on television. This year, Khalia Horton, a ’24 Klein College of Media & Communication Public Relations student, shared her desire to have a memorable rooftop lunch with her friends at the Charles Library before they graduate. Thanks to TUTV, Khalia’s wish became a reality, creating an unforgettable experience for her and her friends.
This summer, Temple University Television is teaming up with NBC10 for an extraordinary Klein GO program of Olympic proportions! While Natalie, Maggie, Rachel, and Hayden take on the City of Lights, another talented group of students, volunteers, and staff will support them from Annenberg Hall.
MEET THE HOME TEAM
Charly Schultz is a third-year Media Studies & Production and Journalism student at the Klein College of Media & Communication. With her experience working as an Executive Producer for Temple Update, Charly will use her organizational skills as the Senior Producer for the Paris Home Team.
Mariam Akraz is a fourth-year Media Studies & Production student at the Klein College of Media & Communication. She will utilize the leadership skills she has acquired while working on OwlSports Update to lead the Home Team as the Director for all three live programs.
Sydney Binkly is a fourth-year Media Studies & Production student at the Klein College of Media & Communication. Syndey will harness the technical skills learned in Paul Gluck’s TUTV Practicum to work alongside Mariam as the Paris Home team’s Technical Director.
Madeline Gillespie is a fourth-year Journalism student at the Klein College of Media & Communication. You may have seen Madeline as the host of Temple Tonight, weather reporter for Temple Update, or correspondent for The Temp. Madeline will harness the range of the on-camera skills she has learned to co-anchor TUTV Live In Paris live from Annenberg Hall.
Paddy Heckard is a fourth-year Media Studies & Production student at the Klein College of Media & Communication. You might have seen Paddy anchoring for OwlSports Update. Paddy will use the on-camera skills to co-anchor TUTV Live in Paris alongside Madeline from Annenberg Hall.
Connor Magee is a third-year Media Studies & Production and Journalism student at the Klein College of Media & Communication. He will use the skills he has learned producing and anchoring for Temple Update Now to line-produce for the Paris Home Team.
