(Recorded in September and October of 2024) On the Fall 2024 semester premiere of Artists Among Us, hosts Rachel Williams and Veronica Rin take us through various elements of The Art of Cooking. First, they stop at the Southeast Asian Food Market and try some Southeast Asian cuisine. Next, Rachel takes us through the history of the Michelin Star and what it takes for a restaurant to earn one. Later, Rachel stops by Shane’s Confectionary Shop and talks with Jennifer Kyler, senior pastry assistant and candy packer, about the shop’s history and how it works. Finally, Rachel puts her cooking skills to the test and teaches us how to make a rice bowl.
