A Temple original cooking show featuring Baker Dave, the pastry chef for Aramark at Johnson and Hardwick dining hall and the Student Center food court. He’s been running the bakery at the cafeteria for ten years, so he has plenty of tips and interesting recipes to share.
Greek Baklava
Niki Mendrinos, Senior Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions, joins Baker Dave in making a familiar and traditional Greek dessert, baklava. Baklava is a sweet pastry made of layers of buttery filo dough filled with chopped nuts and honey. Niki brings aprons with Greek sayings to add traditional flair.
