Library Lecture: American Museums
The lecture examines the history of American museums and the way that two local institutions–the Barnes Foundation and the Wagner Free Institute of Science–both carry on and move forward the purpose and function of contemporary museums.
Panel speakers include The Ohio State University’s Steven Conn, Susan Glassman of the Wagner Free Institute of Science of Philadelphia, and the Barnes Foundation’s Blake Bradford. This program will be moderated by Kenneth Finkel, distinguished lecturer in the Department of American Studies.
