In this Spring 2024 TUTV Student Project Showcase, Temple University students display their skills, highlighting their talent and hard work by applying lessons learned in the classroom to produce three original student-led productions. First, Ethan Jain presents “12-Minutes,” a satirical “anti-infomercial” that spotlights what happens when a fictional cleaning product causes more harm than good. Then, in a spoof talk show called “Bury The Hatchet With Airy Styles,” Airy (played by Spencer Schenkel) welcomes “The Sew Sisters” to the stage. Later, “Professor Shine” hosts Temple Trivia Alumni VS. Student. Finally, Gustavo Star (played by HUnder Gonzales) presents “What’s New Temple?” a daytime talk show-style segment covering topics such as campus food trucks, the student body presidential elections, and more!
The TUTV Student Project Showcase is an original TUTV program that provides a platform for the creative minds of Temple University students. This showcase features a diverse collection of original short films, each uniquely reflecting the student's artistic vision. These projects result from the students' hard work and dedication and showcase their writing, acting, and directing talents.
