The Vibe: Hip-Hop 50th Anniversary Special
On this very special hour-long episode of The Vibe (recorded in Fall 2023), hosts Bruce Claxton, Jocelyn Hockaday, Kasey Thorpe, Lauren Jackson, and Randi Lane celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Hip-Hop. This jam-packed episode features an epic freestyle segment, “Off The Dome,” where local rappers showcase their skills, on-the-street interviews with students about their favorite hip-hop artists, a deep dive into the history of Hip-Hop and its impact on popular culture, and more.
