America is in the throws of an opioid epidemic. Tens of thousands of individuals become victims every year, and then their loved ones must cope with the inconceivable loss and pain. Lisa Bien is joined by Founder of the Kenny Smith Freedom Foundation, Gail Smith, who shares how she is confronting and conquering her pain caused by the opioid epidemic. Dr. Joseph D’Orazio, emergency physician and toxicologist at Temple University Hospital, also provides insight into the epidemic and how he is treating it every day.
