Settle in for a spooky Temple Talk on Tuesday! This special Halloween episode includes a performance by Temple singer-songwriter Ryan Leahan, who makes all of his music from his dorm room in Philadelphia. The Coatesville native released his album Rocketeer this year, which features soulful ballads and rap verses alike. Ryan is also a member in the group Requiem Inc, where he does vocals and production.
Temple Talk hosts also talk to Luis Marrero, who started a poetry collective and open mic event called Voices in Power in 2011, which has gone on to become Philadelphia’s most successful open mic.
