TUTV interviews John Helferty on his past achievements and his future work on integrating NASA-related fields into the undergraduate engineering educational experience. 

John Helferty earned his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering technology from Temple in 1982. He received two American Society for Engineering Education Faculty Fellowships at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab in Pasadena, CA, for his work with control-system design for NASA space probes and satellites.
