For the Research Curriculum Series, Roberto Caricchio, MD presents “Research Career Pathways for Physicians”. The different types of research, the role and responsibilities of a physician-scientist, and the distinction between physician-scientists and clinician-educators are explained.
Dr. Roberto Caricchio is an associate professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, who studies autoimmunity, cell death, and lupus nephritis.
