Humanities Lecture: Garland Thompson


Garland L. Thompson, journalist and author, discusses Black pioneers in technology, as well as societal changes caused by technology.

Thompson is the author of Unheralded but Unbowed: Black Scientists & Engineers Who Changed the World (Createspace, 2009). He is also a veteran journalist, former Baltimore Sun editorial writer, and columnist and contributing editor at US Black Engineer & Information Technology magazine. A graduate of Temple University, Thompson earned his BA in Journalism and JD from the Beasley School of Law.
