Communication Studies Lecture: Dana Saewitz


Dana plays a pivotal role in the career of Temple Advertising students aside from teaching as a professor she runs the department’s internship program. Dana has spent over 15 years working in advertising, mostly in the cable television industry. After 15 years, she was ready for a change and wanted to share her knowledge, experience and enthusiasm for advertising with young people. In this lecture Dana comes in to speak to the Communication Studies Club about the way advertising has gotten an edge with the introduction of search engines and social media sites that mine for our personal information to sell to big advertisement companies.
