A panel discusses gender violence displayed in the media, institutions that harbor high levels of gender violence, and what measures are taken to try and educate the public on these serious issues.

Sitting on the panel are Dr. Elizabeth Sweet, from the Department of Geography and Urban Studies; Carmen Guerrero, a community organizer in Montgomery and Norristown, PA since 2003; and Kate Schaeffer, Program Coordinator for Alcohol & Other Drugs, Interpersonal Violence, and Mental Health with the Temple University Wellness Resource Center.
