A panel discussion hosted by the Faculty Senate Committee on the Status of Faculty of Color about programs and training at Temple University specific to graduate students considering careers in academia. Panelists include Dr. Jackie Tanaka, associate professor of biology and director of Temple’s Maximize Access to Research Careers Undergraduate Student Training for Academic Research (MARC U*STAR) program, Pete Watkins, associate director of the Center for the Advancement of Teaching (CAT); and Elisabeth Fornaro, graduate student and Academic Center on Research in Diversity (ACCORD) extern.
