2013 Sherman Lecture: Elizabeth O’Connell

Elizabeth O’Connell, the executive producer for wireless and radio at NBC News, is honored as the main event speaker for the 2013 Sherman Lecture.

A 32-year NBC veteran, O’Connell began her career while still in college as an intern on the assignment desk at WBZ in Boston, rising to become one of the first female executive producers both at NBC and in television news. She is interviewed by Jean Chatsky, financial editor for NBC Today, followed by a Q&A session with the audience.
