Temple Update is an award-winning news program entirely written, produced, directed, and anchored by students at Temple University. This weekly half-hour show covers a wide range of stories and events, both on and off campus, with a particular focus on the greater Temple community. The program strives to keep its audience informed on the latest developments within the university, surrounding neighborhoods, and beyond.

Isabel Garcia speaks with Her Campus president Jaimee Swift about the organization’s co-sponsored event meant to create a dialogue to spread suicide awareness. Ally Gallo breaks down the spring break schedule along with speaking to students around campus to get their spring break plans. Ali Bristow attends the Philadelphia Flower show to see Temple Ambler’s show exhibit. The anchor desk invites Temple Update colleauge Francesca Ruscio to talk about her achievement of being crowned Miss Philadelphia. Kris Turner takes a tour of Philadelphia’s Waste Management provided by Temple’s Office of Sustainability with the goal to educate students on the process of waste mangement. Ally Mascitti attends the annual Flyers Wives Carnival, an event held every year to raise money for mutiple charities while also having fans meet Philly Flyers. And Simone Cuccurrulo sits down with the seniors of the Temple Men’s Basketball team to take a look back at the past four years.
