As always, Temple Smash introduces a range of characters through their skits and digital shorts. Kicking off the show are two Viking brothers that call on accident friends that mishear them. Moving along, a reoccurring character of the show,The Luckiest Man Alive, finds himself in good fortune in dreary situations. A secret order of druids quarrel over certain aspects of the “brotherhood.” Batman drops by the studio to fight crime in a civil law abiding manner. And a regular high school girl must deal with the troubles of a vampire and wererooster courting for love.
Temple Smash is Temple University's first and only televised variety show, produced for students by students. Taped in front of a live studio audience in TV Studio 1 of Annenberg Hall at Klein College, the show features an array of talented acts, including original sketch comedy, musical groups, dancers, stand-up comics, short films, and more.
