In honor of Sustainability Action Day, horticulture students, faculity, and staff at Temple University Ambler planted native trees and shrubs and cleared invasive plants in the meadow area across from the campus library. By removing the invasive pear trees and re-planting with native species, it will be harder for the invasives to return. The new plantings will also give this woodland/meadow buffer more biodiversity and deer fencing will be installed to give the new trees some protection.

Special programming from Temple University's Ambler campus.
