Uncommon Vision: The Life and Times of John Howard Griffin is a documentary about John Howard Griffin, a white man who disguised himself as a black man by dyeing his skin and traveled through the South during the Civil Rights era. His purpose was to write a news article about discrimination against blacks in the South. He later wrote a famous book called “Black Like Me,” describing his experiences and adventures during this time.
