Pope Francis will visit the Curran-Fromhold Correction Facility in Philadelphia on Sunday, September 27th at 11 a.m. The pontiff will meet with connect with select inmates and their families as well as prison staff.
In 2015 TUTV provided live coverage of the Papal Visit to Philadelphia from Saturday, September 26th to Sunday, September 27th. TUTV's student journalists reported live from the Ben Franklin Parkway and in the studio at Temple University. Up to 17 student journalists were involved in the coverage, handling tasks such as directing, field producing, reporting, editing, and writing. The studio show was hosted by Lu Ann Cahn.
