Episode 9
Host Sydney Dorner speaks to Temple Assistant Professor Jillian Bauer and Temple freshman Anthony Cordi about how it feels to be dating as a millennial, touching on subjects like dating apps and catfishing. Later, co-host Lindsay Weiner talks millennials and self image, specifically the current generation’s attitude towards make up (e.g., contouring, a preference for high-end beauty brands, and YouTube tutorials). Lindsay brings two social media entrepreneurs to the set–Paige Governs of Miss Carter Vanity (which sells decorated vanity mirrors) and Alexis Wood of Style By Nabree (a brand of t-shirts)–to gain their insight on millennial beauty standards.
