Veterans and Business

Temple University’s Small Business Development Center provides various types of business consulting to the community, including assistance with demographic market analysis, discovering a revenue-producing model, and legal aspects. Many veterans in the area are using the center’s resources thanks to the work of Maura Shenker, the center’s director, and Executive Principal of Wheel Dog Industries, Dennis Miller. Host Kaicey Baylor speaks with Shenker and Miller about the services offered by the center and how their work helps veterans transition back to society and navigate the business world. Miller in particular, a veteran and entrepreneur himself, works to inform veterans of the opportunities that the SBDC provides and to help them readjust to society.
