On September 21, 2024, the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) hosted its prestigious 42nd Annual Award Ceremony. Among the nominees, Temple University Television stood out with seven nominations, leading to two talented alumni from the Klein College of Media & Communication securing Student Production Awards.

Congratulations Ajay Patel Klein College Class of 2024 Alum for his work as anchor and reporter on OwlSports Update. After completing a high school internship with 302 Sports in Delaware doing play-by-play announcing and color commentary, Patel knew his dream was a career in sports broadcasting. With supportive parents who always encouraged him to plan ahead and pursue his dreams, he knew that he was ready to hit the ground running when he arrived at Klein.
