New “Advice from the Classroom” segment now on TUTV

TUTV Presents Advice from a Classroom

TUTV has been doing all we can to use our platform to help support schoolchildren, families, and teachers during the coronavirus lockdown. Now, in addition to airing children’s educational programming daily, TUTV is working with the early education experts on faculty at Temple University’s College of Education to offer ADVICE FROM THE CLASSROOM, a special series designed to aid those folks now teaching their children at home.

Created in a landmark collaboration with the  College of Education, TUTV and Temple’s Center for Media and Information Literacy, “Advice from the Classroom” is a new program for parents featuring smart ways to make learning at home engaging and fun. The short videos distill concise instructions and valuable insights on how to foster learning with easy and simple techniques.

The first installments are by Dr. Sabina Neugebauer, Professor of Early Childhood Education, who will explain how to help your child learn new vocabulary words. In addition to these videos, we will be offering written guides on our website to go along with each lesson.

Watch all the segments online now and keep an eye on this space for new installments, which will also air throughout the day on our TV station in between programs.
