Klein College’s Advanced Sports Reporting class presents a panel discussion of the award-winning 2016 ESPN documentary Life as Matt, about transgender South Jersey high school track star Matt Dawkins. Matt put his dreams of competing in the Olympics on hold to pursue life living his true identity. Following a screening of the E:60 production is a panel discussion concerning the making of the documentary and transgender issues with guests Matt Dawkins, Matt’s mother Tammi Grovatt-Dawkins, and Mike Farrell, an ESPN producer.
