Temple Trustee H. F. “Gerry” Lenfest, a philanthropist, entrepreneur and community leader, discusses the importance of giving back in an event that kicks off the new Provost Lecture Series. Over the years, Lenfest has donated millions of dollars to local and national causes, including education, the arts and disadvantaged youth. In this lecture, he addresses how he made his fortune and why he works so hard to give it away. The lecture series was designed to help students connect their education to the real world.
