Humanities Lecture: PhD Panel


“What Else You Can Do with a Humanities Ph.D.: The Alt/Ac World of the Library and in Information Technology” is a discussion of opportunities in the world of cultural memory organizations such as libraries and archives and in related areas in information technology organizations. Each speaker shares their views on this career path and offers suggestions for current PhD students in the humanities and humanistic social sciences. Chaired by the executive Director of the American Association of Research Libraries, Elliot Shore, panelists include Erin Connelly who has a Ph.D. in Medieval English, Jennifer Grayburn who has a Ph.D in Art and Architecture, Alicia Peaker who has a Ph.D in English, and Nikolaus Fogle who has a Ph.D. in Philosophy.
