The Dean of the School of Media and Communication, David Boardman, opens the ceremony with a personal anecdote of how he came to know Kal and Lucile Rudman and speaks on his admiration for their long fruitful journey in the media, particularly Philadelphia.

Following Boardman’s speech is TUTV General Manager Paul Gluck. Gluck expresses that the Rudmans’ generosity have had a direct impact on Temple students, pointing out successful alumni that were former TUTV student workers and content producers and the current student workers that have been able to produce professional level work. There to give their own testimony to the benefits of TUTV on the student body are Karina Cheung from Temple Update and Nick Lucier, both of whom anchored the TUTV Space Station Live Broadcast.

The Rudmans give their closing thoughts, thank those that have honored them, and reflect on treasured experiences.
