A Conversation With Tamron Hall

David Brown, diversity advisor to the office of the dean of Klein College of Media and Communication, moderates this eye-opening discussion between students and Temple Trustee and 2022 Klein College of Media and Communication Gallery of Success honoree Tamron Hall.

Tamron talks about the challenges of balancing a full-time career, motherhood, and maintaining a leadership role during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. She also discusses how her “role with the punches” attitude helped her navigate production challenges post-COVID and how staying relevant to a broad demographic keeps her on her toes. Later, she talks about being “phased out” of the Today Show and how she used that experience to become one of only two Women of Color to create, executive produce, and host their daytime talk show.  Finally, Tamron reflects on her time at Temple University and discusses how she would not be where she is today without Temple.
