Kal and Lucille Rudman Media Seminar: Kristen Welker
NBC News White House correspondent and NBC10 alumna Kristen Welker sheds insight on political reporting in a multimedia world in a conversation with NBC10 News Anchor Renee Chenault-Fattah. Students, faculty, alumni, along with media aficionados alike, gathered at the Independence Visitor Center for the Kal and Lucille Rudman Media Seminar.
The event was made possible by a generous gift from the Kal & Lucille Rudman Family Foundation. The conversation between the two media professionals covered a wide variety of topics, including Welker’s journey to becoming the White House Correspondent, the use of social media on the job, and how to balance a personal life with demanding work hours.
