This cross-disciplinary arts symposium brings together artists, performers and scholars from the different branches of the creative arts that have recently been united under the new Center for the Arts at Temple. The inspiration for this symposium is attributed to the Tyler exhibition “Charles Searles: In Motion,” as the symposium uses Searles’ work as a springboard to further investigate intersections of visual art, music, dance and theater. This portion of the symposium focuses on performers reciting poetry.
