Temple Update is an award-winning news program entirely written, produced, directed, and anchored by students at Temple University. This weekly half-hour show covers a wide range of stories and events, both on and off campus, with a particular focus on the greater Temple community. The program strives to keep its audience informed on the latest developments within the university, surrounding neighborhoods, and beyond.

Isabel Garcia investigates the lowering of Temple’s credit rating caused through the turmoil in Temple’s healthcare system. Alexandra Gallo puts an end to the rumor of Owl Cards doubling as a SEPTA charge cards to use to pay for fare. Rich Fogel gets the story of Temple stepping up as a community leader by spear-heading a green project to put solar panels on Edberg-Olson’s roof. Allison Serabo heads to the Bell Tower to see how students are celebrating Sustainability Week. And Taggart Houck speaks with Temple students embarking on a five mile Halloween bike ride in North Philadelphia showcasing their fun costumes with the end goal of landing in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
