Temple Update is an award-winning news program entirely written, produced, directed, and anchored by students at Temple University. This weekly half-hour show covers a wide range of stories and events, both on and off campus, with a particular focus on the greater Temple community. The program strives to keep its audience informed on the latest developments within the university, surrounding neighborhoods, and beyond.

Tasia Morgan tests Temple’s enhanced security by attempting to walk through security check points without showing a valid I.D. Rebeccah Hendrickson reports live from Broad and Master St. at the now vacant William Penn High School, which Temple has expressed interest in purchasing.

During Military Appreciation Day, Alexandra Gallo speaks with a number of veterans who have enrolled at Temple to pursue their education after their time in the service. Allison Serabo catches up with Temple alumni on their service work in the local neighborhood on Global Alumni Day. Cari Dienstman attends the Hootathon at Mitten Hall where Temple students dance for a 12 hours straight to raise money for children battling cancer.

Simone Cuccurullo reviews the men’s basketball season opener, a team trying to rebuild from the loss of five senior players. Alexandra Keller reports on the benefits of the free flu shot offered by the University.
