Temple Update is an award-winning news program entirely written, produced, directed, and anchored by students at Temple University. This weekly half-hour show covers a wide range of stories and events, both on and off campus, with a particular focus on the greater Temple community. The program strives to keep its audience informed on the latest developments within the university, surrounding neighborhoods, and beyond.

Melissa Steininger reports live at the Pi Lambda Phi fraternity house, the scene of a recent off-campus shooting. Brianna Fletcher covers the annual Global Day of Service during which Temple links with an organization to provide a charity event. The Update desk interviews Temple ROTC serviceman R.J. Clark on what Veteran’s Day means to him.
Grace Chimel attends Temple’s Hootathon which have Temple Students dancing to raise money for children’s medical research. Ginger Rausseo gives a behind-the-scenes look at the Latino Update Now broadcast, Update Ahora. Taylor Garland reports from London where Temple students gather together for a Philly cheesesteak night. Carly Mascitti interviews rap group Ground Up, who had their first show at Temple. Tommy Sladek gives viewers a preview of what is to come for Temple’s game against Penn State. Karina Cheung and Taggart Houck anchor.
