Temple Update is an award-winning news program entirely written, produced, directed, and anchored by students at Temple University. This weekly half-hour show covers a wide range of stories and events, both on and off campus, with a particular focus on the greater Temple community. The program strives to keep its audience informed on the latest developments within the university, surrounding neighborhoods, and beyond.

Karina Cheung reports on the recent $1 million donation to TUTV from philanthropists and noted media figures Kal and Lucille Rudman, who had previously donated $1.2 million to launch the station at its inception. Aryann Cuda heads to Liacouras Walk to see Temple alums kick off alumni weekend with a 5k run. Maxine Bentzel reports live outside the Paley Library to ask students about how they prepare and handle finals week. Stephanie Fanelli looks into the negative impact of the summer construction in the Templetown area, often forcing students to walk in the streets due to street construction closures. The anchor desk invites study abroad correspondent Jade Jarvis to speak about her time abroad and what the program has to offer other students interested in studying in countries such as England, Italy, and Japan. Nicole Bernier investigates on how Temple’s Diamond Dollars marginalize certain businesses. Rebeccah Hendrickson attends the annual Cherry & White game to get a preview of Temple Football and to see the festive atmosphere for Temple students.
