From the students who bring you Temple Update every Thursday, “Lo ultimo” is a 15 minute newscast completely in Spanish. Monica Logroño hosts the first edition of this program, which covers local and international news, plus in-depth stories about the Latino community in Philadelphia, including a Temple University alum who is committed to making indigenous Latin American languages accessible on YouTube, and a new bilingual PhillyCAM TV program, Atrévete.
Temple Update is an award-winning news program entirely written, produced, directed, and anchored by students at Temple University. This weekly half-hour show covers a wide range of stories and events, both on and off campus, with a particular focus on the greater Temple community. The program strives to keep its audience informed on the latest developments within the university, surrounding neighborhoods, and beyond.
