Temple Update is an award-winning news program entirely written, produced, directed, and anchored by students at Temple University. This weekly half-hour show covers a wide range of stories and events, both on and off campus, with a particular focus on the greater Temple community. The program strives to keep its audience informed on the latest developments within the university, surrounding neighborhoods, and beyond.

Beccah Hendrickson and Phil Dupont begin with updates on the Pennsylvania state budget deadlock and Governor Tom Wolf’s health. Melissa Steininger has more on students’ thoughts regarding the safety of using Uber. Erin Patterson reports on Temple Hospital’s new “Fighting Chance” program that educates North Philadelphia residents on bystander response to shooting. Alyssa Jerome is live with the spring break forecast. London correspondent Stetson Miller announces the arrival of cheesesteaks in England. At the news desk, Kelly Antonacci takes a look at trending stories on Temple Update’s website. Tennyson Coleman is brought in from the Sports Desk with highlights from Temple Men’s and Women’s Basketball. Later, Spencer Trabbold discusses a local comedy club’s “roast” of Temple.
