Temple Update is an award-winning news program entirely written, produced, directed, and anchored by students at Temple University. This weekly half-hour show covers a wide range of stories and events, both on and off campus, with a particular focus on the greater Temple community. The program strives to keep its audience informed on the latest developments within the university, surrounding neighborhoods, and beyond.

Andy Goodling reports of Michelle Obama’s visit to a Fairhill Elementary school to promote healthy eating habits among urban youth. Bryant Maddrick investigates a new law put in place in Pennsylvania banning cell phone use in cars. Sydni Grant interviews students and local residents of the mandated nutritional information fast food restaurants are now required to provide consumers. And Adam McGrath reports from the Philadelphia Eagles’ practice complex at the 4th annual Women’s Academy, an academy that breaks down football plays and runs exercise drills for the women attending.
