Temple Update: April 7, 2016


The broadcast begins with coverage of the Presidential Primary Election. Beccah Hendrickson was at the on-campus rally hosted by Bernie Sanders, while Taggart Houck was at the AFL-CIO Convention in Philadelphia for Hillary Clinton’s address. Brian Roche is live at 16th and Montgomery, where many students live off-campus, to explain the University’s effort to crack down on off-campus drinking. Ben Otte takes a look at the construction currently happening at Annenberg Hall. Joe Mancini discusses trending stories on Temple Update‘s website, and Yingqiao Zhou has the story on one Temple student’s experience interning abroad in Tokyo. Later, Tennyson Coleman examines the Women’s Lacrosse team’s chances for success in the Big East this season. Kristina Stidham reports on how Greek Life students are banding together against racial discrimination. Hannah McComsey has the five-day forecast.
