2014 Finale

In the last Temple Talk of the Fall semester, the hosts go over Thanksgiving and other upcoming holidays, including what to wear, what to do, and other holiday tips. New movie releases are also covered, and later, Temple Talk leaves the studio to speak to students on campus about their holiday plans and resolutions for next year.

Then, special guest Gary Clark from Temple’s Diamond Marching Band joins the hosts to share some of the pretty amazing experiences he’s had lately. Gary got the chance to appear in the new film adaptation of the musical Annie. Gary walks us through the whole experience and explains what he thinks has allowed the Diamond Marching Band to get so much attention.

Finally, Temple Bhangra performs live on the set. Bhangra means “explosion of joy,” which is evident in the dance moves. It is a form of folk dance that originated in the Punjab region of northern India and is traditional when celebrating the harvest and sometimes marriages.
