On the second episode of Temple Esports Central, hosts Alex Wentz and Daniel Briglia break down what Esports is all about and where you can find the Esports world on Temple University’s Campus. The hosts discuss the popular video game “Valorant” and its impact on Esports and Temple University’s varsity Valorant team. Eric Huynh, the newly elected president of Temple’s Esports Club and a NECC National championship-winning Valorant team member, joins the hosts to discuss the team’s strategy, practices, teamwork, and the challenges they face without an official coach. He also shares the Temple Esports club’s progress, growth, and plans for the future. Later, host Kally-Ann Palerm takes us to Temple’s game room to speak with the participants of “The Rave,” an in-person “Super Smash Bros” tournament.
Temple Esports Central was created in 2023. This TUTV original program provides news and updates about Esports events at Temple University and in the gaming world. The program offers in-depth analysis of new game releases, player interviews, and covers major esports tournaments.
