CUNY presents: Asian American Life, a multiple Emmy-nominated news magazine show that addresses topical news issues, features, and celebrities. CUNY highlights Asian American communities nationwide and profiles Asian American leaders. New York City’s Chinatown is a cultural hub for the Asian community. It remains a popular tourist destination. Gentrification is slowly changing the landscape; however, there is a movement where the next generation stays grounded in the neighborhood and helps to transform their family’s business.
