(Recorded in Spring 2025) On this episode of Shedding Light, the crew discusses the lack of disability inclusion in sexual education. First, Temple University Professor Jennifer Pollitt and TA Sinh Taylor explain their course “Sexuality and Disability,” while current students Melina Scurlock and Liv Asbury talk about their experiences in the class. Then the crew takes a trip to the Institute on Disabilities to learn about the Healthy Sexuality program from program director Nova McGiffert. Finally, Cleo Thompkins and Rayleen Cosgrove from the Peer-Led Sex Ed club discuss how disabled people can use sex toys safely.

Shedding Light is TUTV’s first series focused on disability, exploring the lives of those in the disability community, its history, and more.
