
TUTV’s first LGBTQAI+ series, Queer Temple, co-created by Temple students Christopher Smith and Andreas Copes and hosted by Andreas. The program examines the world through the eyes of LBGTQAI+ individuals, reporting on current events, history, and life in the queer community.
Queer Temple: Episode 2
Host Andreas Copes returns to focus on the topic of identity and how people express themselves. Andreas sits down with Kelvin Bloodsaw aka Diamond Black to discuss his story of who he is as a musician, and the message that he wishes to spread through his music. He covers first loves, identity, coming out, and how life can be hard sometimes but happiness and self-love rise above all. Andreas also speaks with with Rebecca Zalkin, a Mathematics major and Queer Studies minor at Temple. She discusses her experience of being trans in the STEM field, a predominantly male-driven industry, and how she overcomes hardships.
