On Friday, April 8, Dr. Edward Trayes’ Photo Seminar class from Temple University will have a multimedia exhibition featuring 1,000 Philadelphia smokers. There will be 1,000 mounted portraits of Philadelphia’s smokers along with interviews, a book with over 300 pages, an interactive website, an eight-foot tube structure filled with cigarette butts and a video about the smokers.

Located at 13th and Norris streets, the exhibition is from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the atrium of the School of Communications and Theater at Temple University. This is one block east off North Broad Street at Diamond and two blocks from the Susquehanna-Dauphin station for SEPTA’s Broad Street Line. Free refreshments will be provided.

If you are unable to make it to the opening day for the exhibition, the photographs will remain on display in the same location until Friday, April 15.
