Basketball season is less than two weeks away, and JJ Michalski and Adam Crognale are back to cover all of the latest news. Temple’s Men’s Basketball team is predicted to finish 7th out of 12 in the conference according to the Pre-Season Coaches Poll, and an OwlSports Update reporter is live from the Liacouras Center to talk to the team players and their head coach to see how they feel. Later, Ray Dunne joins the anchors at the desk to talk about the Owls’ disappointing performance in Dallas last weekend when they faced SMU and give predictions for their next matchup against another nationally-ranked opponent, the UCF Knights. The Men’s Soccer team are back in action after a short break, defeating both USF and Louisville. Senior defender Esteban Suarez had his first career goal, and goalkeeper Lefebvre is named AAC’s Goalkeeper of the Week. Conference struggles continue for the Women’s Volleyball team, as the team has only won one match so far. The Women’s Basketball team is preparing to take on Fairfield in their opener game, and Captain Mia Davis is considered the key to the team’s success. Before signing off, the anchors talk about Temple’s Marching Band and their contribution to the success of the athletics program at Temple.
