OwlSports Update: November 21, 2019

Adam Crognale and JJ Michalski begin with a recap of Temple Football’s win over Tulane. Andrea Malizia has the details on how redshirt Quincy Roche turned the game around for the Owls after a disappointing start. The anchors next review the Owls’ ACC standing and go over what must happen in order for Temple to play at the AAC final. The Men’s Basketball team wins against La Salle 70-65 in Aaron McKie’s first Big Five game. Aaron McKie is also the first Temple’s head coach since 1942 to start his coaching career with 3 straight wins. The Women’s Basketball team proves that they are too much for Xavier to handle as they beat their opponent by almost 20 points. Although Temple lose to UConn later in their final conference matchup in Philadelphia, it’s the last time the two teams have to meet as this is UConn’s final year in the AAC. The Women’s Basketball team secures another victory over Bucknell this weekend, and junior forward Mia Davis makes Temple history by reaching 1,000 points. After a few road bumps, the Women’s Volleyball team finishes this season with a win. Finally, JJ and Adam pick their favorite plays from this week to wrap up the show.
