OwlSports Update: November 14, 2019

It has been another busy week for the Owls, and Sean McGeehand and Brian Steinmetz are back with another edition of OwlSports Update. History repeats itself for the Men’s Soccer team as they, once again, beat the Memphis Tigers by 2-1. Unfortunately, this resilient squad ended the year with a tough loss to UCF at the semi-final. Later, Brooklyn Vaughan and Dom Gillaspy join the desk to talk all things football. The anchors give predictions for the Owls’ upcoming game against the Tulane Greenwaves and discuss possible Bowl games for the Owls. The Men’s Basketball team improves to 2-0 after beating Morgan State, and Max Green has more on the stellar performance of the team’s captain, Nate Pierre-Louis, who has scored himself two double-doubles so far this season. Women’s Basketball team beats Dusquene but falls short to St. Joseph. Women’s Volleyball extends their losing streak to 4 matches, and an OwlSports Update reporter has more on the difficulties the team faces traveling on the road for the playoffs. Finally, Woobin Nam learns more about Sarah Park, a fencer from South Korea with an impressive performance this season.
