OwlSports Update: March 12, 2020

Adam Crognale and Ray Dunne are at the desk to bring you the latest sports news for the last time this semester. With classes being moved online due to the coronavirus outbreak, Temple has decided to suspend outdoors sports for at least two weeks and only allowing in-season spring sports to continue without fans. The AAC Tournament is officially cancelled, and Dan Wilson is live from Forth Worth, Texas to give us more insights into the AAC’s announcement. Now that Temple’s season is over, Adam and Ray discuss what might have happened had the season continued–who would have claimed the title, and how Temple could have finished. In their final game of the season against Tulsa, the Men’s Basketball team lost by 12 points. They also finished their regular season with a loss against Cincinnati despite Quinton Rose scoring 19 points. The Women’s Basketball team ends the season with two losses, earning themselves an overall record of 16-15 and a conference record of 7-9. Temple’s Gymnastics sets a program record as Owls get third place at the Terrapin Invitational in Maryland. The Women’s Lacrosse team loses a close game against Villanova, and the Women’s Fencing team earns themselves the 25th consecutive INFWA Championship, sweeping both individual and weapon titles. Adam and Ray go Join My Parliament one last time before saying goodbye to the audience one last time.
