Her work pertaining to social media, ethics, and AI has been published several times, including in her very own textbook. Kearns is a Professor and the National Center Chair in the Computer and Information Science Department at the University of Pennsylvania. His research primarily concerns machine learning, algorithmic game theory, and quantitative finance. Among other things, Kearns also works in various departments in the Wharton School of Business.
